Our Story: It All Started with a Drop of Soy Sauce

Like most new parents, I quickly realized that baby-wearing was an absolute lifesaver. It was often the only way to soothe my fussy newborn while trying to get anything done around the house—including attempting to eat a meal with two hands.

But eating over a baby carrier is a high-stakes game.

One evening, I was finally sitting down to a long-awaited dinner with my baby strapped tightly to my chest. I picked up a piece of sushi with my chopsticks, dipped it, and leaned over to take a bite. Right on cue, a massive drop of dark soy sauce went flying—landing right in the middle of my baby's hair.

As I sat there over the kitchen sink, gently trying to scrub dark, salty stains out of a sleeping newborn's head without waking them up, I looked at the traditional baby bibs in our drawer and realized they were completely useless for this problem. The mess wasn't coming from my baby's mouth; it was falling from my mouth.

I didn't need to struggle with forcing a traditional bib onto my baby while they were buried deep in a wrap. I needed a napkin that fastened cleanly to my neck, draping down over their head like an umbrella canopy to protect them from my dinner.

That was the exact moment Noggin Napkin was born.

Our Mission

We build premium, vibrant, and ultra-functional adult-worn bibs designed exclusively for the baby-wearing community. Our goal is simple: to catch the mess before it catches your baby's noggin.

By designing an adult neck loop that transitions into a lightweight baby shield, we keep food away from your little one's hair while protecting your clothes and your expensive structured carrier from stains at the exact same time.

We believe that keeping your baby close shouldn't mean sacrificing your meals, your clothes, or your gear. We’re here to handle the drips so you can enjoy the closeness.

Welcome to the family, and happy (mess-free) baby-wearing!
